Customer Service Coordinator
This position performs advanced customer service tasks for corporate and private aircraft customers. Personalizes the delivery of service to meet the specific needs of the customer as well as assisting with basic line service and customer service duties as needed. Insures that “VIP” service is provided to all arriving and departing aircraft. Insures that vehicles are pre-positioned, catering orders are accurate and services are rendered in a timely manner.
Supervises, directs and schedules the Ramp Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and coordinates their activities to insure that all services are delivered to customers. Assists management in development, training, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching Ramp CSRs; serves as a role model and first point of contact. Performs other duties as assigned.
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to operate: radio, credit card machines, telephones, computers and various other office machines. Basic knowledge of aviation/airport operations helpful. Must be highly familiar with the local area and be able to refer/provide directions to people to specific locations. Must have strong multitasking skills and creative thinking. Must have excellent people skills and be able to maintain a professional positive working attitude during stressful situations. Must have a valid Florida driver’s license. Previous customer service supervisory experience preferred.
