Collier County Honor Flights
Collier County Honor Flight’s mission is to transport local Veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit those memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices. Support for these trips is provided by volunteers and is at no cost to the veterans. Trips are simply not possible without public support.

Young Eagles Program
The Naples chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) founded the Young Eagles program in 1992, which gives youth one-on-one flights with experienced pilots. The nationwide effort, which is the only program of its kind, has taken nearly two million kids up in the air, with the sole mission to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation.

Naples Municipal Airport is the recipient of the 2015 J. Bryan Cooper Environmental Award, General Aviation Airport, from Florida Airports Council for its water-management system upgrade to remove an open water canal from airside and create a water-management pond outside the primary airport property. This work improves water quality, and removed a major wildlife attractant from the immediate airside area.
Gordon River Greenway Project
Two miles of winding trails, boardwalks and bridges connect Golden Gate Parkway to central Naples, including 1.5 miles along Naples Municipal Airport. The airport is proud to support this project, nearly three decades of planning and effort.
Inside and outside of the airport, staff are committed to the Naples community. The airport has recorded more than 1,200 hours of employee time spent volunteering in the community.
