OPEN POSITIONS

 Mechanic I – Entry level position $15.51 per hour. Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines and motors for the City of Naples Airport Authority. Responsibilities include maintains shop, vehicles and equipment to OSHA requirements. Inspects and services all vehicles to ensure proper safety and working order to include: tires, fluids, glass and other related maintenance activities. Maintains parts inventory for vehicles, ships packages for repair, keeps daily vehicle log and repair files. One year certificate from college or technical school, and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Maintenance Worker (Landscape) – Entry level position $13.50 per hour. Maintains grounds and landscape of the Naples Municipal Airport. Responsibilities include performing all care and maintenance on trees, shrubs, and lawn using proper equipment, chemicals and landscaping techniques to ensure healthy appearance. Plants trees, shrubs, and plants utilizing appropriate landscaping equipment. Completes trimming and weeding of hedges and flower beds. Periodically performs basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing repair, and general maintenance of Authority's buildings and grounds as assigned. Full working knowledge of landscaping techniques, chemicals, and their applications. Must have full working knowledge of FAA rules and safety requirements related to maintenance within 90 days of employment.
