Request for Proposals – 2019 Landscape and Irrigation
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The City of Naples Airport Authority (NAA) invites the submission of Bid Proposals from all interested and qualified parties with demonstrated landscaping expertise for the 2019 LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION Project at Naples Airport.
Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms provided in the Bid Packet no later than 10:00 A.M. EDT on Friday, August 9, 2019 at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Naples Airport General Aviation Terminal, 2nd Floor Larson Conference Room, 160 Aviation Drive North, Naples Florida 34104.
This project will include design and installation of an irrigation system, landscape planting, mulching and sodding.
Contract time will be forty-five (45) consecutive calendar days from the receipt of Notice-to-Proceed. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid security in the form of a bid bond or cash payment equal to 5% of the total bid, made payable to the City of Naples Airport Authority. Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of sixty (60) days.
All interested contractors are strongly urged to attend a Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Tour scheduled for July 24, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. E.S.T. at the Naples Airport Commercial Terminal, 500 Terminal Drive, Naples, FL 34104. Questions concerning the project may be submitted until 5:00 pm, July 31, 2019 in writing via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. No questions will be accepted after that time. Bidders shall not contact City of Naples Airport Authority Employees, Agents, or City of Naples Elected Officials to discuss the project. Answers to all questions will be compiled into an addendum and posted on here on August 2, 2019. Please monitor this site frequently for any updates.
All Bidders must be licensed in accordance with Florida Laws. The Authority recognizes fair and open competition as a basic tenet of public procurement. Respondents doing business with the Authority are prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, handicap, age or sex. The NAA has a progressive Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women-Owned Business Enterprises Program in place and encourages Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women- Owned Business Enterprises to participate in its RFP process.
The City of Naples Airport Authority reserves the right to waive any formalities or irregularities in the bids received and to reject any or all bids or to award or refrain from awarding the contract for the work, whichever is deemed to be in the Owner’s best interests.
