Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Vehicle
The City of Naples Airport Authority invites the submission of Bid Proposals from all interested and qualified parties to provide a replacement Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Vehicle for the Naples Airport.
Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms provided in the Bid Packet no later than 10:00 A.M. EDT on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the General Aviation Terminal, 2nd Floor Larson Conference Room, Naples Airport, 160 Aviation Drive North, Naples, Florida 34104.
The project scope of work consists of furnishing and delivering a new, unused, Class 4, 1,500 Gallon Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Vehicle in accordance with the specifications for the project. The project also includes furnishing an input-based Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) Testing System.
The bidder must have at their disposal the necessary capacity to produce and deliver the ARFF vehicle within the time specified in the bid. Delivery time of the ARFF vehicle is not to exceed 365 days from award of contract.
Bidders shall note that federal or state funding is not being utilized for this procurement.
Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by the City of Naples Airport Authority and must be accompanied by a Bid security in the form of a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid made payable to the City of Naples Airport Authority. Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of sixty (60) days.

All Bidders must be licensed in accordance with Florida Laws. The Authority recognizes fair and open competition as a basic tenet of public procurement. Respondents doing business with the Authority are prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, handicap, age or sex. The NAA has a progressive Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women-Owned Business Enterprises Program in place and encourages Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women-Owned Business Enterprises to participate in its RFP process.
The City of Naples Airport Authority reserves the right to waive any formalities or irregularities in the bids received and to reject any or all bids or to award or refrain from awarding the contract for the work, whichever is deemed to be in the Owner’s best interests.
